    KURIAN, J. 1. Leave granted. 2. The  appellant  tenant  has  approached  this  Court aggrieved by the order dated 17.04.2017 passed by the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh, confirming the order passed by the Rent Controller. 3. Today parties are present before this Court and we sought  the  assistance  of  Shri  R.  Balasubramanium, learned counsel to make an attempt for a settlement. Thanks to the valuable assistance rendered by learned Mediator and thanks to the cooperation of the parties and the suggestions made by the Court, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. 4. It is agreed that the appellant shall continue at the  present  premises  up  to  the  end  of  the  month  of Deepawali in the year 2019. However, the appellant shall pay the entire arrears of rent within three months from

today.  He shall also continue to deposit the monthly use and occupation charges before 10th of every month. He shall file an undertaking in those lines within two weeks from today. 5. The Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
